The PROJEXXREF Scheduled Job Entry
Many of the commands in Projex4i use an internal database which is rebuilt on a scheduled basis using the IBM i scheduled job process:
The database is built using the internal @GENXREF command:
The @GENXREF command will use various DSPFD, DSPOBJD, DSPPGM, DSPPGMREF, RTVDSKINF to generate a bunch of large output files.
By default, when Projex4i is installed, the job scheduler is set up to rebuild the database daily (Monday thru Friday).
